The sash pivots around the central horizontal axis, giving clear access to the outer glass pane from within the building. Aluminium Windows
Aluminium has a very long life span which is about 20-30 years which is a lot longer than the 15-20 years that UPVC can last, however they stop looking pleasant after just 4-5 years, In recent years technology has allowed aluminum windows to become available in a a lot more different colours than in previous decades which has made aluminum windows seem a lot more viable and visually pleasing.
